Mark 13:3-4

The view of the temple from the Mount of Olives is panoramic; but what do you think the disciples were thinking about when they asked about the signs?  

Mark 13:2

Jesus’ prophecy on the temple was fulfilled when the Romans destroyed it in A.D. 70 (see also Matthew 24:2).  What significance is there when Jesus talks about the stones?

Herod the Great had expanded the temple to about double the size of the Solomonic temple.  It was majestic.  Find a bible encyclopaedia and check out the illustration of this so-called Second Temple.
