Romans 4:9-12

Why is it that observing religious rites and rituals cannot put us in right relationship with God? Do we then stop religious observances?

Pray for the ASEAN to remain united and useful in stabilising the region for the welfare of people living in its member countries, and for regional security.    

Romans 3:27-31

Why is there no ground for boasting before God, even for a truly religious or philanthropic person? Is Paul saying that being moral and doing good deeds are not important?
