Why did Daniel remind Belshazzar of what God did to his father Nebuchadnezzar?

What did the king promise Daniel as a reward? How did Daniel respond?

How did the queen describe Daniel? How did God bless and use Daniel?

What was the significance of the goblets the king used for his banquet? What were they used for?

Is the king’s response surprising to you? How does God continue to humble the proud? Pray that God will keep us in humility and exalting Him above all else, including ourselves.

How did God fulfill His purposes towards the king? Are you facing trials or difficult circumstances? What might God be revealing to you through them?

How did Daniel break the bad news to the king? In what ways are we called to be “Daniels” in our own lives?

The king recognised that the Spirit of God was in Daniel (vv8-9, 18). How did the Holy Spirit lead Daniel, and how does He continue to lead you today?

What are some ways that the living may know that God is sovereign over the kingdoms of men (v17)? How about in regards to your own life?
