What does it take to finish well as Christians? Are we committed to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith, whilst looking forward, as Paul, towards heaven and meeting our Lord?

2 Tim 4:1-5

Are we sometimes guilty of picking and choosing what we want to hear from God and His Word?  How can we not compromise sound doctrine and the foundation and authority of God’s Word in our church and lives?

How can we continue in what we have learned and have become convinced of, specifically with regards to the gospel and the Scriptures?

Are you facing any form of persecution because of your Christian faith?  How is Paul’s example an encouragement to those who are persecuted?

Even Jesus recognized that, “it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.” (v10b)  How is God, who is living in you, doing his work in and through your life?
