John 8:1-6a

What is the motive of the teachers of the law and the Pharisees in publicly prosecuting the adulterous woman?  How would you expect Jesus to have responded?

John 6:48-51

Jesus alluded to the Lord’s Supper which he instituted later on.  What further teachings/promises did he give concerning the eating of bread? Cf. Matthew 26:26-29.

John 6:41-47

What objection did the Jews now have concerning Jesus? Contrast with 6:14-15.  By appealing to the Prophets, what was Jesus pointing out about their spiritual condition?  Is that condition true of you as well?

John 6:30-35

“True bread from heaven” – who gave it? (cf. Ex 16:15) What can it do for them and for us?  Have you come to this Jesus personally?
