What is the point in Jesus’ response to their question? How does Jesus’ body language reinforce his point?

What is the motive of the teachers of the law and the Pharisees in publicly prosecuting the adulterous woman?  How would you expect Jesus to have responded?

Jesus alluded to the Lord’s Supper which he instituted later on.  What further teachings/promises did he give concerning the eating of bread? Cf. Matthew 26:26-29.

What objection did the Jews now have concerning Jesus? Contrast with 6:14-15.  By appealing to the Prophets, what was Jesus pointing out about their spiritual condition?  Is that condition true of you as well?

Is belief or unbelief a matter of human choice and effort?  What promises did God make?  What assurance do we have?

“True bread from heaven” – who gave it? (cf. Ex 16:15) What can it do for them and for us?  Have you come to this Jesus personally?

Why were people seeking Jesus then?  For what purposes do people seek Jesus today?  What does Jesus teach about following him?

What was the occasion leading to the feeding of the 5000 people?  Who did the crowd think Jesus was?  What did they make of him?

What is a good way to live in a community of believers?  How will the community be built up if we live by those values which Paul highlighted?

How are we instructed to nurture our families so that they know God and worship him well?  We are also to remember God’s work of salvation.  How can we help our families do that?
