How does one genuinely reflect our Saviour’s love?

If outward conformity may not always reflect an inward change, how may our actions truly reveal our inward convictions?

The exhortation to “not be surprised” was aimed at assuring those who would be opposed in this world even though they may be faithful to God. How may this be an assurance to us?
