Mark 14:3-5

The ointment contained in the alabaster jar was costly and would have been the average of 300 days of wages for a labourer then.  Why was it considered wasteful?

The chief priests and the scribes were fearful of the people who might cause an uproar.  Why were they fearful?  

Mark 13:35

Jesus exhorted his disciples to “keep watch because you do not know when the owner will come back”.  How may we “keep watch” as His disciples?

There has always been so much anticipation about when Christ will return.  Should we be overly concerned about it?  If so, why?  If not, why not?

The final days will be here, judgement will come, and false teachers and false prophets will arise to cause fear and unbelief; are we ready to withstand such onslaughts?  Will we be fortified because we know God’s word?
