What are the principles that must fundamentally guide and guard our aspirations and priorities? Why?

Have you personally received Jesus as your Saviour? If you have, what growth actions must follow that reception? What will that look like in the new year?

There are two ways to build our lives – wise or foolish. In what areas of your life right now are you building in the wise way? Which areas are you building in the foolish way?

Who particularly is Lady Folly inviting and hosting in her house? What does she offer her guests? What will their end be like?

What benefits await the wise? What harms await the foolish? Why is the way of the foolish often more attractive?

“The fear of the LORD…” is also the exhortation found in Proverbs 1:7. Why is this heart attitude so important and necessary to gain wisdom?

How differently will a wicked mocker react to correction compared to a wise and righteous man? How might you explain the difference?

Who particularly is Lady Wisdom inviting and hosting in her house? What does she offer her guests? How will they/we be helped by accepting her invitation?

This benedictory blessing somewhat summarises what God has done in sending His Son Jesus Christ into the world. Meditate on it and respond to God accordingly as the Holy Spirit leads you.

Who is Jesus? What attributes of God did He magnify in His humanity? How does the world today still need to witness these attributes?”
