Look at Eve’s act in verse 7, and compare it with God’s act in verse 21.  What does God’s act tell us about his attitude towards his people?  

What were Adam and Eve’s response to God’s question? What were Adam and Eve trying to do?

How did the sin affect Adam and Eve’s attitude towards each other and God?

In what ways did the fruit appeal to Eve?  Can you list other passages where the evil one tempts people?

What did the serpent say to distort Eve’s thinking?

Compare Eve’s response to what God has said in Gen 2.  How does she misrepresent God’s command?

How can you “guard” the doors of wisdom’s house? What dangers are out there that you would have to “guard” against?

These verses suggest that wisdom existed before creation. In the New Testament, who is the true personification of wisdom? In which New Testament passage can this be found?

What is the point in bringing up these examples? In what ways are the wealth and riches of wisdom more than the value of precious metals?

This verse reminds us about the relationship between loving God and hating sin, both cannot co-exist.  How can we break sin in our lives?
