How would the Passover event mark a new beginning for Israel? What did it mean to do? How did it point us to Jesus’ death?

Look closely at Pharaoh’s hardness of heart. Why do you think he chose to ignore God’s power? Recall a time when God has called you to repent. How did you respond?

How did Pharaoh evaluate them?  Were the Israelites a threat? According to Pharaoh, what was the Israelites? How did this contrast with God’s purpose for them?

What were Moses’ two objections? What was God’s revelation of His name intended to address?

The glory of the Lord guided his people.  How does God guide his people today? Give an example of how you have personally experienced His guidance.

What do we see of God’s nature in these two accounts?

How does the arrangement of the courtyard point to the way men must approach God?  Is our approach to God any different in the New Covenant?

Explain simply why Christians today do not need a Tabernacle or Temple.

Aaron was anointed and set apart for priestly work.  As priest by spiritual birth, are you doing what God has called you to do?

What were the priests told to do with the anointing oil? Why was this important?
