Paul rejoiced over Titus for his obedience.  John Calvin once said, “All knowledge of God is born out of obedience.”  How may you obey God to reflect true discipleship?

Bonhoeffer said, “Suffering is the true badge of discipleship.  The disciple is not above his master.”  How may we learn from what Christ went through as we seek to be His disciples?

The only way the world may know Christ is when we are purified through resting our hope in Him.

In an orchestra, all instruments should play harmoniously and rhythmically to produce great music.  This Christmas, let’s reflect on how God may be the Chief Conductor who orchestrates the Body into producing great service and ministry to the world.

Wise men sought Him and brought gifts to the King while insecure people plot to eliminate the Saviour of the world.  What’s your response to the Christ-child?

The lowly shepherds were among the first to witness the birth of the Christ-child.  Humility of hearts is needed to welcome our Lord Jesus into our hearts.  Bow your hearts today.

Christ came that fear may be banished for the promise of the Lord is fulfilled in Him.  Bring your anxieties before the Lord and let Him renew your confidence in His word.

Nehemiah and the leaders celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles with great joy, after sharing God’s word.  We too may rejoice for the Word is now made flesh and dwelt amongst us.  Joy to the world!

Christmas is often a time of feasting.  Take a day this week to fast with a prayer focus.

Pray that prayer aloud and ask someone to pray along with you.  Which part of the prayer do you often struggle with?
