There is nothing that will test our beliefs more than suffering for them. In what 2 ways did Paul’s  imprisonment contribute to the advancement of the Gospel?

What is Paul’s personal situation as he writes this epistle (see v13)? Yet he says in v4 he “prays with joy”, and v18 “I will continue to rejoice.” Why do you think this was so?

What instructions did Jesus give His followers? What is then the responsibility of every believer in fulfilling Christ’s command?

How did the women react to the angel? What did he tell them to do?

What occurred at the temple when Jesus died? What significance does this have for us?

How did the man’s salvation come about?

Why did Pilate sentence Jesus despite knowing that He was innocent?

What did Jesus’ silence and refusal to defend Himself indicate?

How did Jesus live this out in His own life?
