Why were Peter and John seized?

What happened, as news of the miracle spread? What did Peter do?

How does the passage describe the Church? It is merely a physical building or a denomination? 

What did the Holy Spirit enable the apostles to do? What was the purpose of this particular gift?  Ask God to teach us to live our lives for him in the same way.

How often did they meet? Where did they meet? What did they do when they met?

What evidence is there that they cared for each other? How is this in keeping with the mission of Jesus (Luke 12:33)? Is this required today?

What was Peter’s conclusion? What is the appropriate response to that? 

What scripture did Peter quote his sermon from? Does the Holy Spirit still speak to us from the Old Testament today?

Where is Jesus now? What does this state about the future? What does Jesus leave his disciples to do in the meantime? How does that expectation affect our own lives?

What does ‘witness’ mean? Were they witnessing?
