Luke’s Gospel gave an account of what Jesus began to do and to teach. Acts begins with an anticipation for action. How does Jesus‘ appearance after his death adds to this anticipation?
Hebrews 4:1-13
We may find that rest only when the struggles of life ceased and that the promises of God come alive by our total reliance on our Lord. Trust his promises and rest.
Hebrews 9:11-28
The blood that is poured out for us is not from cattle or goats but from the Lamb of God himself. Purify yourself this day “your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”

Jesus the great high priest presented himself as the once-for-all sacrifice for salvation and perfection of all his followers. Are you following him?
